Semi-abstract
Semi-abstract art loosens the grip on literal representation. Forms are still recognizable: a figure, a landscape, a face. But they're simplified, distorted, or reimagined. The artist keeps one foot in the visible world and one in the realm of feeling and idea. You see both what's there and what it suggests. This style lives in the space between seeing and interpreting, where reality bends toward emotion and meaning.
